To conduct on-site assessments against the requirements of relevant standards or specifications
To provide expertise, produce surveillance and initial assessment reports, and make recommendations for certification decisions.
To promote the BSI product offering and solutions to our clients with the view of improving their business performance, managing risk, and Making excellence a habit
To support Training Department in the delivery of courses
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
Deliver ESG, GHG, SRA, or any related management system assessment as Team Leader or Team Member and prepare assessment reports and deliver findings to clients to ensure client understanding of the assessment decision and clear direction to items of corrective action where appropriate.
Lead assessment teams as required ensuring that team members are adequately briefed so that quality of service is maintained and that effective working relationships are sustained with clients and within the team.
Recommend the issue, re-issue, or withdrawal of certificates, and report recommendations in accordance with BSI policies and procedures within the prescribed time frame.
Provide accurate and prompt information to support services, working closely with them to ensure that client records are up to date and complete and that all other internal information requirements are met.
Provide technical support for sustainability project/product range such as, but not limited to ISO14064, ISO14067, Green House Gas (GHG), Carbon Footprint, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and other relevant Sustainability Report Assurance (SRA) based national and international standards.
Play a pivotal role in auditing organizations or products to evaluate their performance in relation to their sustainable development goals.
Establish regular communication with global/regional project/product champions for updates and be aware of any project/product or scheme offerings related to sustainability.
Embark on any local initiatives by global/region for any new schemes/accreditations.
Conduct training activities, both public and in-house to related ISO standards or client-specific requirements as defined by the project/product.
Support the development delivery of training materials for the product and client specific for internal and external stakeholders including auditors and clients.
Support development of BSI Auditors and Tutors, ensuring capacity and capability building training plans for the Sustainability project/product range are implemented and deliver adequate professional resources development.
Plan/schedule workloads to make the best use of own time and maximize revenue-earning activity.
Build great relationships, learn about their business and products, and with your audits allow them to achieve a state of enhanced and sustainable services.
Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules, and promoting BSI services to clients so they are able to optimize business performance and Make Excellence a Habit.
Candidate specifications
A bachelor's degree in related fields preferably relevant to the Testing, Inspection, and Certification Industry
Auditor with ISO standard knowledge in ESG and GHG preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detail
Be self-motivated, flexible, and have excellent time management/planning skills.
Can work under pressure.
An enthusiastic and committed team player, with good public speaking and business development skills, will be considered advantageous.
Key performance indicators
Delivery of man-days as booked in time and good quality work together with positive feedback from clients.
Achieve utilization KPI.
Feedback efficiently to both clients and internal queries
Timely submission of reports
Actively solve problems when needed with a can do attitude.
Add value to clients by identifying their needs and introducing multiple BSI services to improve clients business performance and help them Make excellence a habit.
Help to avoid customer attrition by providing quality value-added service and technical support.
