JOB DESCRIPTION
Coordinating meal preparation and service activities within the kitchen.
Direct both the kitchen and dining staff on proper procedures and assign responsibility for various meal elements.
Maintain the hotel’s quality and reputation by monitoring the food that is served to the guests.
Taste the food and oversee the kitchen throughout the cooking process, check to make sure that elements of dishes are properly cooked and seasoned.
Make key decisions regarding hotel’s menu items and offerings. Prepare menus weeks or months in advanced based on customer demand seasonal ingredient availability and special events.
Collaborate with hotel manager to discuss menu options and develop creative dishes throughout the year.
Support hotel’s operations by selecting and sourcing ingredients for meals.
JOB QUALIFICATION
Bachelors/College Degree in Culinary, Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
At least 3-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Credentials in health and safety training
Outstanding communication and leadership skills
