SOUS CHEF FOR ITALIAN CUISINE
This position shall be responsible for bringing the best dishes on the tables for our valued customers. You will also be required to maintain the inventory and make sure the quality and taste of food is according to customer requirements. You will be working directly under the Head Chef of our restaurant. You will be playing a major role in deciding and revamping our restaurant menu on a timely basis. You should be able to cook ITALIAN Cuisine. You should also collaborate with our Pastry Chef to bring forth the best desserts for our customers.
This role requires a lot of potential and expertise. You should have extraordinary leadership qualities to manage junior staff members. You also may be required to work as a commanding person in the kitchen in absence of the Head Chef.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in preparing different Italian dishes.
Suggest and add unique recipes to the menu
Ensure that the food quality is the best
Prepare ingredients for the recipes in a professional way
Ensure the quality and standard of the meals is maintained
Ensure the inventory is stocked on time
Manage the kitchen staff work collaboratively
Manage kitchen operations on the basis of health and safety standards
Maintain positive environment while working in the kitchen
Knowledgeable in Neapolitan Pizza Dough Streaching
Manage time efficiently
Keen to details and with high standard for accuracy
Knowledgeable on food handling food safety, and HACCP standards
Qualifications:
Diploma from a culinary school or related field
Diploma in a relevant field will also be considered
Proven 4+ years of experience of working as a sous chef or chef in reputable hotel and restaurant
Exceptional food preparation skills
Outstanding knowledge of ITALIAN cuisines
Excellent time management skills
Flexible in working hours. Should be ready to work in shifts
Proficient in various cooking procedures and recipes
Quick decision making and crisis management skills
All Positions are based in Malapascua Island, Daanbantayan, Cebu.
