We are looking for a Sourcing Supervisor in Eaton's Electrical Business, based in FPIP, Tanauan, Batangas. The primary responsibility of this position is the purchasing of assigned direct commodities in PQ Philippine Plant to ensure an uninterrupted and timely supply at optimum cost and quality. This position supports the Supply Chain Manager to define PQ Philippine Plant requirements and participates in the selection and relationship building with key suppliers to leverage Eaton's purchases and reduce costs across all business units.
Your essential responsibilities:
Handle local suppliers' direct materials e.g., metals, plastics packaging, and other locally sourced materials
Collaborates with stakeholders to achieve assigned special projects and or initiative outcomes
Supplier base development, prequalification, and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels
Comply with Eaton procurement policy and T&Cs, Monitors and reports Operations' compliance to service agreements and strategy
Assist all functions in negotiating long term contracts to ensure optimal supply and cost structures as well as filling
Data collection and analysis with accuracy, with ERP system maintenance if need.
Support APAC indirect manager to establishes and leads regional/country cross-functional, multi-operation supplier selection process teams
Keep efficient communication within user department and SCM interfaces
Responsible for monthly reports regarding direct outsourcing & procurement activities as well as Oracle data maintenance
Liaison with all levels of Eaton businesses and external vendors/suppliers whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships
Drive the regular plant SCM communication such as council meetings and provide the coaching to plant SCM
Qualifications
If you have:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong leadership skills
Continually demonstrate a complete understanding of both operational needs and business objectives
Ability to quickly analyze operational inefficiencies and immediately correct them
Advanced understanding of SCM process and Lean Manufacturing Principles, deployment and measurement is essential
Ability to understand the business unit needs at a sub-regional level
Ability to understand technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and end-user expectations
Possesses strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Ability to develop and negotiate effective commercial contracts on behalf of Eaton.
Maintains awareness of other functional roles and responsibilities and how they support Corporate and business objectives
Possesses intimate knowledge of labour industry trends and risks
E-Procurement implementation experience
Understands international tax, duty, tariff implications for global commodities
Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Fluent in English, both reading and writing
Highly responsible, with strong logical thinking ability and team spirit
