What is a Solutions Engineer?
 
The Solutions Engineer is a specialist that creates and assists the customers with the appropriate business solutions, effectively building solid relationships and in effect, drives sales.
 
This role is for those ready to grow beyond technical hands-on work, ready to focus on engineering design, and willing to build relationships.
 
Responsibilities:
Designs / engineers solutions for the customer's requirements
Attending pre-bid meetings and customer appointments on project requirements
Conduct site survey and inspection, if needed
Making proposals / Quotations
Demonstrating products and services, if needed
Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote services, if needed
Maintaining client records.
Preparing reports, estimates and forecasts on customer requirements and solutions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related) is preferred
With at least 2 yrs work experience
Willing to do fieldworks / Travel (when possible and if needed)
Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with both customers and suppliers
Able to work with minimal supervision
Team player with leadership qualities and able to take on the role of leading the team
Working knowledge of basic Google and Microsoft applications
Prioritized but not required:
Experience in Solar PV Installations
Multi-skills in Construction or maintenance
Experience in Industrial setting, Construction, MEPF, Solar Design
Driving skills or Licensed Driver
Knowledge of Autocad / CAD applications, Lux computation, Solar PV design Applications
