Job Description
POS (Point of Sales) Architect
Work Setup: Hybrid (2x onsite)
Work schedule: Day Shift
The POS (Point of Sales) Architect would be the subject matter expert of POS technologies who designs, recommend, and drive solutions to meet business requirements and align with key strategies. He/She is responsible for the following:
Design, develop, and construct detailed architecture designs for the store capabilities of the organization.
Understand business requirements, constraints, and current state, to propose solutions to ensure the roadmap can adapt to changes and integrate with the existing environment or suggest changes to the existing environment.
Work with vendors to understand new solutions limitations and capabilities.
Manage current POS solutions across various brands
Work with internal delivery teams to ensure solutions align with roadmap and architecture.
Ensure adherence of solutions to defined security, protocols & best practices standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
At least three to four years of experience with POS systems and/or QSR/Retail IT support
Experienced in creating development plans and upgrading schedules for retail systems
Experienced in data integration and impact of POS changes to downstream applications (i.e. analytics)
Good understanding of payment methods and gateways
Experienced in Store technology components (network, device management, security, etc.)
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
Candidate must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig.
