SOLAR PERMITS AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER
(Gross: Php30-40k/month)
 
Responsibilities:
Grid Integration: Facilitate Net-Metering applications and Interconnection Agreements with Distribution Utilities (e.g., VECO, CEBECO).
Government Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with officials at the Department of Energy (DOE), ERC, DENR, and local Municipal / Barangay offices.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all solar projects adhere to the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.
Documentation: Organize and maintain a digital and physical database of all project-related permits, warranties, and compliance certificates.
Site Inspections: Conduct field visits to project sites across Cebu to coordinate with government inspectors during the approval process.
Conduct management and monitoring of permit works by 3rd party service providers as assigned by the General Manager.
Drafting of compliance checklists and reports
Drafting of meeting minutes
Maintenance of compliance registers
Drafting and review of compliance documents
Provides relevant assistance and/or support to the Permitting & Compliance team, including Environmental Permits, Corporate, and other related areas.
Manage client accounts, preparing monthly invoice and forward to clients.
Manage account payables from suppliers and contractors
Maintain and review company accounting records.
Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws.
Carry out any other works assisted by the company from time to time.
Report directly to the General Manager
Qualifications
Must be a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3-4 years of experience in permitting, licensing, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the solar or construction industry.
Familiarity with the LGU permitting process in Cebu (VECO/CEBECO territories) and the Net-Metering application workflow.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills (English, Tagalog, and Cebuano).
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex paperwork.
Proficiency in MS Office and project tracking tools.
Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel for fieldwork within Cebu Province.
