Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a leading climate-tech venture, building the world's first net-zero homes and communities. Newly start-up construction industry specializing in solar renewable energy for residential. Our respected client is seeking a seasoned Solar Engineer with at least (2) years' experience in solar electrical design and engineering experience with solar farms is needed for the position of Solar Engineer. The job is based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Philippines
Job Summary:
The Solar Engineer will perform necessary site visits, solar data processing and quality checking, correlation analysis, review of energy losses, statistical analysis, and reporting.
Key job responsibilities include:
Undertake energy production and site conditions assessments
Perform necessary site visits, solar data processing and quality checking, correlation analysis, review of energy losses, statistical analysis, and reporting.
Produce and present detailed reports which review the feasibility of sites for development which will include feasibility studies, layout optimization, shadow assessment, and visual impact assessment.
Analyze interconnection due diligence materials to support project acquisition efforts.
Liaise/Interface with a wide range of stakeholders from solar developers / Governmental bodies to financial institutions.
Manage multiple projects to ensure they are completed within timescale and budget.
Develop designs using advanced computer software (PVsyst, Sunny Design, AutoCAD) in finalizing specifications
Knowledge in other materials and software such as Sketchup, ETAP, Solar Pathfinder, PV Studio, Solar GIS, Helioscope or similar and NREL SWERA
Licensed engineer, preferably in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role in solar PV energy, renewable project development and transmission planning
Experience international solar PV project developers and/or solar EPC service providers an advantage
Knowledge in solar PV energy industry software (i.e., PVSyst, PVPlanner, Solar PV Autocad), tools for statistical analysis of data (Access, SQL) and measurement techniques
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Project
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to think independently and recommend best practices
Superior organization, prioritization, and self-motivation skills.
Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig
Can start immediately
