What you will be doing Develop, maintains and upgrade manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets and other programmatic test tools required to execute test plans. Perform functional, non-functional and usability testing for total system performance, reliability, scalability and security. Effectively communicate to stakeholders testing activities and findings in oral and written forms. Control and manage own daily test activities. Support team leads to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Identify and communicate the business impacts of defects found. Prioritise quality assurance activities according to business criticality, severity, and project requirements. Other related duties assigned as needed. What you bring At least 5 yearsu2019 experience in software testing with mix of manual and automation experience. Prior hands-on experience with API/Webservice/Microservice functional testing. API Automation experience using SOAP UI/POSTMAN or similar tools. Hands on with Oracle or SQL Server DB Other Required Skills: Ability to adapt quickly to change of scope and requirements. Ability to create automation scripts for both regression and progression testing. Able to use learned knowledge of systems to systemically work through problems. Able to identify severity and overall business impact of defects found, and able to communicate findings effectively to others in a timely manner. Able to understand the needs of the business to prioritise own workload. Solid problem-solving and decision-making ability. Can establish and maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other teams around the organisation. Knowledge and use of quality management methods, tools and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software that meets needs of client/business partner. Knowledge of basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies. Knowledge of primary database engines with a demonstrated ability to write complex queries to be used for data validation and troubleshooting.
