What you will be doing You will be part of a growing team in Philippines u2013 focusing on delivering projects in short iterations of product features with high quality to our customers. Your job will be a challenging job as a tester in the niche of core banking and payment processing. Testing activities focus on early testing of delivered code, test automation using a test-driven approach and close cooperation with local development teams as well as with distant client test teams and product teams. What you bring: At least 3 years experience in QA Must have skills/tools/experience: 1.) Knowledgeable in test automation (written in Java, Selenium and/or Cucumber). 2.) Experience on Testing concepts (Test scenarios/ Test cases preparation, Defect life cycle , Test/defect management tools) 3.) Experience in XML, SQL, API testing, Linux basic commands. Nice to have skills/tools/experience only: 1.) Experience on payments project/schemes like SCTi, CHAPS, FPS and ISO20022 2.) Knowledgeable in test automation (written in Java, Selenium and/or Cucumber) 3.) Knowledgeable in object-oriented programming and principles with ability to work in at least one object-oriented language (preferably Java) 4.) Basic understanding of XML structures 5.) Basic SQL query skills (ability to apply and understand existing queries ability to understand relations between tables and using them to make efficient queries) 6.) Proficient in the use of test management and defect management tools (eg.: Jira, Spira, Bonfire, HP ALM, TestRail etc.) 7.) Ability to work with IDE tools (e.g.: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.) 8.) Ability to work test Restful and Soap interfaces (e.g.: using Soap UI, Swagger, Citrus etcu2026). Must be willing to work on a Hybrid setup at Ortigas, Pasig Must be willing to work on a mid shift (4:00pm to 1:00am) College undergraduates with relevant experiences are welcome to apply Knowledge of basic principles, processes, phases and roles of application development methodologies. Ability to test in an agile environment (ability to perform time boxed exploratory testing on entry criteria understanding of TDD, BDD any other agile testing experience is a plus). Ability to work independently. Understanding balance between the eye for detail vs the upcoming deadlines. Ability to function well in a team (consulting colleagues escalating issues and risks related to own work constructive relation with developers and distant test team). Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in English.
