About the Job:
We are looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
As a QA engineer, you will be designing and implementing tests, debugging and make corrective actions. You play a vital role in the company's product development process. You will be responsible for testing the product before launches to ensure that the product is free from errors and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Manual Testing:
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Executing regression suites
Perform thorough regression testing when tickets are resolved
Maintaining existing tests regression suites
Preparation of test scenarios/cases/execution and test results
Automation Testing:
Provide insights and implement enhancement to the automation process
Create automation scripts from scratch
Build and execute automation suites
Debug automation test results
Implement automation framework (Feature changes, data, and scripts )
Analyze and implement test automation framework
Review automation test script/code changes to establish best practice for the team
Able to identify test that provides value
Updating Framework functions when needed
Updating/maintaining the test scripts when needed
Open to learn any other tools for automation if necessary
Reviewing the Test Reports and Preparing Test Summary Report.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
Must have a solid experience in QA automations.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience using various automation framework
Experience in technologies relevant for test automation (preferable Selenium, Cucumber, API)
Knowledge & Experience with JIRA and Github tools
Knowledgeable of Burp Suite tool for Security testing is a plus
Experience in an agile environment
Excellent analytical skills.
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good project management skills.
