For this role, we are specifically hiring for QA Engineers to be based out of our office in BGC, Manila. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we're currently operating remotely and everyone is working from home.
In this job you will:
Work with a team of talented developers building FinTech and loyalty products
Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Prepare and maintain test scenarios (both manual and automated)
Perform manual functional testing / smoke tests and Regression when needed (we are actively trying to reduce amount of manual work needed)
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Monitor debugging process results
Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Work with customer service team to help troubleshooting, triage reported issues and perform root cause analysis
Work across our entire product suite, ranging from front-end products, to API, to mobile apps.
Work with our customers (e.g. financial institutions) to perform UAT tests
Architect, design and continually improve our automated testing infrastructure to allow for higher productivity and efficiency

Requirements
We expect you to:
Have at least 3 years of testing experience (new grads feel free to apply)
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and process
Have above average knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodology
Have basic programming skills (Ruby would be a plus point!)
Have experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, RSpec, Selenium, etc.)
Have understanding of topics like APIs, networking
Have experience working with APIs, Web application, Mobile application (Native and Hybrid)
Strong attention to detail, ability to pinpoint possible problem areas
Experience with testing across different products (e.g. API, frontend, mobile)
You will get bonus points if you:
Have experience with design, creation and maintaining automated test scripts (JUnit, RSpec, Selenium, etc.)
Have experience with design, creation and maintaining performance testing scripts (Jmeter, Loadrunner, etc.)
Have experience with design, creation and maintaining security testing test cases
