BASIC FUNCTION
Position Overview
The Software Advisor (SA) will work directly with Software Licensing Consultants, Software Account Executive, Product Marketing, Inside Sales Reps (ISRs/CSR's), and Commercial Executives in supporting and executing the contractual True-Ups, Renewals, quotes during the lifecycle of the customer's contract.
What you'll do at Insight
Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Master, Agreement, Enrollment functions and rules and accurately quote against an existing agreement or potential agreement
Must be able to support internal tools (ELD) and be an expert at using, maintaining, and troubleshooting data issues within the tool
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple actions during the day
Facilitate customer conference calls, on-line meetings, and other media as required to fulfill requirements and deliver value associated with position support responsibilities
Ability to create CPS's inside of Partner Quoting Tool
Credit & Collections Support, Invoicing/order escalations
Limited portal support to help customers - examples: VLSC, Explore.ms, office.portal.com, etc
Develop and maintain a high degree of knowledge specific to manufacturer's products, programs, and promotions
Occasional travel may be required in compliance with Insight's travel policy
Provide support as needed in closing specific business opportunities
Solid understanding of using Excel power functions (Lookup, Macro's), PowerBI, SharePoint and Teams
What you'll need to join Insight
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, 2 or more years of experiencing in supporting customer contracts and Microsoft Licensing
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents and to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
Strong communication skills
Must have or will have in 6 months various Microsoft Certifications - such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft P-CE certification is a plus
