Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or any related technical field.
2-3 years of experience in implementation or project management in related industry.
Strong independent decision-making, organizational planning, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to manage complex, multi-phased projects.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to travel as needed to client sites.
Job Summary:
 
The Software Implementation Manager shall lead a team of Implementation Specialists and Software Developers and collaborates with cross-functional teams such as sales, support, and third-party vendors in implementing business software solutions to our customers.
 
Responsibilities:
Ensures that the deliverables and scope, and expectations for a project are clear and well defined to both the implementation team and the customer.
Ensure that software implementation projects are delivered within the scope, time, costs and budgetary constraints for the project.
Conduct status meetings, identify and manage project risks and causes, and report project progress to the immediate superior.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather feedback, assess project success, and identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Manages the implementation team's day-to-day performance of their duties, with full authority over team members' actions.
Shall collaborate with the Sales team during the pre-sales process in uncovering the customer's requirements to develop a project scope.
Shall identify, arrange, and source the necessary resources such as manpower or otherwise to execute and deliver the software implementation projects to the customer.
Ensure a smooth transition of the project from the implementation team to the support team by documenting project specific software configurations and maintenance tasks.
Support the Implementation Specialist in gaining buy-in from the customer for solutions that challenge the customer's requirements and assumptions.
Develop a standard implementation and execution plan or strategies for similar or recurring projects with similar scope and requirements.
Foster proactive communication both internally among employees and externally with end users to guarantee that services are delivered and adopted efficiently and effectively.
