DescriptionTyler Technologies, Payment Vertical, offers a comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions built and deployed exclusively for government. We are currently looking to hire a Software Engineer to directly support our electronic payments platform.This is an overnight shift position, 9PM - 6AM PHST. This is also a hybrid position which requires 2 working days on site in our office. The office address is Three/NEO Building, 18th Floor, 3rd Ave. Corner 30th St., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1634.We are seeking an individual contributor responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. You'll collaborate with business partners and technical teams to turn requirements into impactful solutions and play a key role in projects across business units, helping deliver technology that supports organizational goals.Responsibilities
Build out applications and infrastructure for the Tyler payments suite of products
Full Stack web application development using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#, Angular Typescript, HTML 5, CSS for UI
Provide programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area to troubleshoot, maintain, analyze, test, scope, estimate, and design business
Formulate and define application scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems.
Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
Design, code, test, debug and document programs according to requirements
Participate in business and IT project estimation activities
Collaborate with business partners, and other technical staff to understand user requirements, identify technical approaches, and create solutions
Partners with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the system
Performs development tasks to upgrade and maintain existing applications
Accurately estimates project development activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science or math, or comparable work experience.
Experience with, or aptitude for .NET C# coding
Experience working with the .NET/Core/framework is highly desirable
Experience with REST API patterns and designs desirable
Demonstrated expertise with SQL databases and data modeling principles.
Excellent analytical abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have:
C# .NET Core/.NET 5+ a plus
Exposure to AWS cloud platform highly desirable
Exposure to Docker / Containerization highly desirable
Experience with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.)
