The group manages all of the company's content collection and distribution services, routinely increasing efficiency year over year through automation. The Ownership Engineering team under CE is focused on delivering Ownership data (e.g. holders and holdings data) coming from different sources by providing database solutions and automated processes which follow an Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) procedure. The team is currently based in Manila but looking to expand to Hyderabad. also works closely with stakeholders based in New York, Norwalk, Manila, Paris, and Hyderabad. We are looking for a candidate who is independent, driven, and has strong communication skills and technical knowledge who will help the team contribute to the company's goals and help to provide our clients with the data they need to make informed decisions. An engineer who will be able to learn and work on a variety of technologies, including market-used and proprietary technologies. Essential Requirements At least 3 years experience in a Software Engineering role BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent A solid foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design Relational database experience, preferably PostgreSQL Experience developing in Perl, Python or any other object-oriented language Ability to learn new technologies quickly Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills Independent and could work both independently and in groups Dedication to producing high quality work and supporting that work when required Leadership and mentoring skills Desirable Requirements Experience working on ETL pipelines Experience with AWS Familiarity with Agile software development Familiarity with Bash and Linux Familiarity with Test Driven Development Background in object-oriented software design
