SOFTWARE ENGINEER - ABAP DEVELOPER
 
About the role
 
What you'll be doing:
Perform ABAP development including reports, modules, enhancements, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, and ALV Reports.
Conduct debugging, bug fixing, and system troubleshooting to resolve SAP-related issues.
Perform system enhancements and functional improvements across SAP modules based on business requirements.
Develop and automate SAP workflows to enhance system efficiency and business productivity.
Build custom reports, dashboards, and extract tool for operational and management reporting.
Support integration between SAP ERP and external system such as DIAS, TED, HRIS, and E-Portal.
Collaborate with functional consultants and process owners to define and implement SAP solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation including functional and technical specifications.
Support SAP data integrity, audit compliance, and enforce security standards.
Provide user support, training and best practice guidance to SAP end users.
Participate in SAP system upgrades, migrations, performance tuning, and patch deployment.
Analyze and recommend process automation or system improvement opportunities.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in ABAP development
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using ABAP
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Familiarity with software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment
Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
