Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Software Development Engineer located in Cebu, Philippines.
What a typical day looks like:
Planning and executing reference code and collateral
Designing, developing and debugging software code (ex: BIOS, embedded OS...)
Participating in key silicon product development and technical teams
Participating in first silicon and new platform power-on events
Providing post power-on support
Providing support to driver and middleware software development teams for product integration.
Engaging various internal cross-team validation organizations
May create and maintain product BIOS, BMC, OS, embedded and UX feature documentation.
Designing, developing and debugging user interfaces such as CLI, SNMP, Web Interfaces and Mobile applications
Developing with underlying protocols such as Java, .Net, C#, HTTP, SSL, etc.
Present and sell Flex global technical capability
Outline technical risks and trade-offs
Technical Sales and Business Development
Technical Leadership of product development teams
Independent generation of product ideas and intellectual property proposals
May include patent submission and review
Participation in Flex Technology Roadmap development
Technical Market analysis
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Possesses a Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of working experience in the Software Design
Require Skills: MCU & Firmware, BMC, BIOS, embedded software including drivers, BSP, HAL and POST, operating systems such as Linux, QNX, OSx)
