We are seeking a talented software development engineer skilled in backend development with technologies such as Python, Kubernetes, and AWS, and who understands the Agile mindset and DevOps philosophies.
The startup is based in Melbourne, Australia, but has a global community of employees based around the world. On a "typical" day you might be working to design and implement infrastructure, build new regions or discuss radical new approaches to improve latency and performance of a next generation deep learning powered search platform.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Designing and building services to scale for millions of global users
· Working as part of a team to deliver new, highly scalable software solutions
· Expanding your own skills by constantly learning and experimenting with new tools and ideas to evolve your team's processes
· Own the full stack of our products, from design/architecture to implementation and continuous iterative development

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Business proficiency in English (B2 CEFR or equivalent)
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering discipline.
· 1+ years of development experience in a software development role
· Experience with AWS Services such as Cloudformation, EC2 and Dynamodb
· Experience with Elasticsearch, Opensearch or another noSQL database
