Job Description
Serve as subject matter expert for complex automated testing application design and development issues and participate as an expert in software redesign process assessing software development projects for quality assurance factors affecting functional requirements and design specifications.
Create automation testing strategies, leveraging knowledge of computer science and software development principles.
Review testing documentation, develop testing standards, define criteria for testing, analyze test results, and present results to developers.
Develop automated, high-quality test code and scripts utilizing industry-leading tools and frameworks
Integrate test code/script into CI pipeline. Review and monitor test results. Working with development to fix and resolve identified issues.
Collaborate with product owners, development leads and other stakeholders to understand product specifics and create corresponding test strategies.
Coaching and mentoring cross-functional scrum teams in automated testing and CI/CD.
Perform hands-on manual testing for all areas not covered by test code and develop a plan to create supporting automation.
Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science OR related technical discipline.
3+ years direct experience in software development with strong, hands-on experience in software automation testing, test case development, test execution, test results analysis, and test optimization.
3+ years of hands on experience in developing test automation frameworks for web based application
3+ years of web-based test management experience using the following: Team Foundation Server, GIT, API
Strong knowledge and actual work experience of C#, JavaScript
Expert in Selenium Web Driver and BDD frameworks
Strong Back-End and/or API Testing
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills and an ability to come up with creative solutions to problems
