Rate: Starts at $6 USD per hour, commensurate to experience, skills, and current market rateAbout the RoleWe are looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can manage social media end-to-end, create engaging content, and support our marketing efforts across multiple platforms. The successful candidate should bring strong Facebook experience, a proven track record of running successful campaigns, and a portfolio showcasing their past work.Key Responsibilities
Manage social media channels end-to-end, including content creation, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement.
Edit and repurpose video content (footage will be provided).
Draft and send email newsletters to our existing client base.
Write one blog post per month to support SEO and brand presence.
Design and create occasional print or pamphlet mailers.
Run paid advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, including targeting, optimization, and performance tracking.
Provide light website management support for our tourist attractions website (e.g., snorkeling tours) - no advanced technical skills required.
RequirementsQualifications
Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Associate or similar role.
Strong expertise in Facebook marketing and advertising.
Hands-on experience running Instagram ads and campaigns.
Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar).
Basic video editing skills and experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere.
Strong writing skills for newsletters, blogs, and social media captions.
Creative eye for design with the ability to create engaging graphics and visuals.
Portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Nice to Have
Experience with light website management (WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms).
Familiarity with print and offline marketing materials.
