Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to oversee our organization's social media presence and strategy. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing engaging social media campaigns, driving brand awareness, and fostering meaningful interactions with our target audience. Your passion for social media trends, excellent communication skills, and strategic mindset will be key in elevating our brand's online presence and achieving our marketing objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media Strategy - Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's marketing goals. Identify target audience segments, key performance indicators (KPIs), and content themes to achieve measurable results.
Content Creation and Curation - Create compelling and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics. Curate and share user-generated content to enhance community engagement.
Social Media Management - Manage all social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and any emerging platforms. Monitor activity, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the audience in a timely and authentic manner.
Community Building - Cultivate an active and engaged online community by fostering meaningful conversations, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues to enhance brand loyalty and advocacy.
Analytics and Reporting - Utilize social media analytics tools to track and measure the performance of social media campaigns. Generate regular reports, analyze data, and provide insights to optimize future strategies.
Social Media Advertising - Develop and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences, increase brand visibility, and drive website traffic or conversions when applicable.
Trend Monitoring - Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Apply this knowledge to continually improve the organization's social media efforts.
Collaboration - Collaborate with the marketing team, content creators, and other stakeholders to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives and brand messaging.
Crisis Management - Be prepared to handle potential social media crises promptly and professionally, maintaining the organization's reputation and brand integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar social media marketing role.
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of language and storytelling abilities.
Proficiency in using social media management and analytics tools.
Creative thinking and the ability to develop engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze metrics and use insights to improve performance.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple social media accounts and campaigns.
Experience with social media advertising and understanding of ad targeting and budget optimization.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
