Job Description
We are looking for a talented Social media manager to administer our social media accounts u0026ndash both internally and for a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for creating original text, managing posts, building online communities and creating social media advertising campaigns.
As a Social media manager, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express ours and our clientu0026rsquos company views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
You must have strong experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Experience with other platforms are advantageous but not mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform research on current trends and audience preferences across all social networks.
Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals
Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
Monitor web traffic metrics.
Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and graphic design to ensure brand consistency.
Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
Build online relationships with target audiences.
Engage and moderate social media communities in conjunction with sales teams.
Oversee social media accountsu0026rsquo design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
Monitor and report on social data/metrics, insights and best practices to continually improve brand awareness and page growth
Build social media advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook Business Suite u0026ndash Facebook and Instagram) and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Create social media advertising reports to demonstrate ROI to clients
Manage client advertising budgets to achieve optimal ROI
Position Requirements
Proven work experience as a Social media manager
Marketing Agency experience or proven experience managing multiple social media accounts
Strong experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube
Experience building advertising campaigns on Meta/Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting skills
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
Knowledge of online marketing channels
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload to hit deadlines
Excellent attention to detail with a passion for delivering high-quality creative outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
