Job Description
Social Media Associate
The Social Media Associate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's Social Media
strategy to increase online presence, brand awareness, and improve Marketing and sales efforts. Also, social media
associate is expected to monitor (respond to queries) of all social media accounts during weekends. He / she may from
time to time need to participate in company marketing events during weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develop, implement, strategize and manage the following:
o social media strategies for assigned brands
o Social Media marketing plan and editorial calendar
o Online content production and scheduling
o Social media pages & profiles
Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, video, and HTML)
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies
Track and analyze analytics report to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this
information to positively affect future outcomes
Reply to consumer queries coursed through our digital assets (Social Media and website)
Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications
Monitor and report on competitive brands' online efforts and track activities of social media influencers
Assist in interfacing and getting our social media influencers, brand ambassadors and business partners
promote our brands
Work with Brand Manager/ Group Marketing Head to develop relevant content (i.e. articles) for our website
Other tasks that may be delegated by the Group Marketing Head.
Qualifications
Educational Attainment Requirement: Business, Marketing, Communications degree, Advertising and or Multimedia
Degree or related fields
Professional Background: Preferably with 1-3 year experience in a similar capacity
Competency Requirements:
 Social Media Savvy (Instagram and Tiktok)
 Good analytical skills and data-driven thinking
 Ability to multi-task, Hardworking, organized and Result Oriented
 Efficient and comfortable being a member of a team.
 Resourceful, a good problem solver and organized
 Good communication and interpersonal skills
 Experience in using computer software applications (e.g. spreadsheet, presentation, word processing)
