To apply for SMSF Auditor, you are excellent at:
Auditing of SMSF (Financial and Compliance Audit)
Agreeing reconciliations and other supporting documents to trial balances / financial statements
Applying professional scepticism as part of the audit process
Gathering appropriate audit evidence for the SMSF Audit
Preparation of Audit Documents, including management letter and audit reports
Communication with Australian team members in respect of queries and review points
Your Success Profile includes:
The role will suit an Accountant with current experience with Australian SMSF work that is looking for the next step in their accounting career.
At least 1 year of Australian SMSF experience, in either audit or tax compliance
Knowledge of Australian SMSF compliance requirements
Knowledge of Class Super, BGL360 or other Australian SMSF software.
Cloud based audit software experience will be an advantage, ie Caseware, Cloudoffis, My Workpapers
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Analytical mind with a high attention to detail
Effective task and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal English communication skills for communicating with our Australian professional staff
Self starter with a positive attitude and the desire to contribute to a high performing team
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
