They are committed to enhancing their client's financial health and well-being and helping them achieve their personal, financial, and business goals.Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:The key focus of this role is to assist with providing compliance and taxation services to Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF).Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of Financial Statements and Annual Tax Returns for SMSFs
Preparation of BAS, annual GST returns and PAYG Payment Summaries when required
Ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and in compliance with SIS Acts and regulations, as well as technical standards and deadlines
Ensuring all documentation including work papers and client files are maintained in line with the organization's requirements
Support continuous improvement and consistency by adhering to organizational processes and procedures
Liaising with auditors, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other Government bodies in relation to SMSF audits, lodgments and other queries as required
Assisting the team with pensions and retirement administration.
