Reports Analyst
Job Description
To design and develop metrics, reports and analyses to drive key business decisions. As a Reports Analyst you will receive requests from all members of the management team so strong task prioritization skills in addition to good statistical, forecasting and critical thinking skills are REQUIRED.
Working with the Quality Team, the Reports Analyst will do data extraction and apply data visualization with UTMOST accuracy wherein transformation and analysis can be derived. The Reports Analyst will also be asked to create automation projects to eliminate repetition, manual tasks and promote a paperless environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strong task prioritization skills in addition to good statistical and critical thinking skills are REQUIRED.
Extract, assemble and analyze data for business reports- making sure data and calculations are ACCURATE IS A MUST.
Examining reports to locate trends and FORECAST of the business behavior.
Interpret data to ensure high level of accuracy, timeliness and USEFULNESS for business leaders.
Will work on different types of reports- BOTH IT and Administrative data. These should be delivered as per specified requirements and timeframe.
Will effectively examine large quantities of data and derive insights from these data sets.
Will communicate across business lines and report on findings and processes to executives and employees. High level communication skills is REQUIRED.
Coordinate and follow up with all data contributors and sources in his / her assigned project/s.
Work with team leaders to gain a better sense of the current shortcomings in reporting technology and devise solutions to enhance reporting and data management.
Find solutions to an organization's data management and reporting problems and to be able to adapt and modify solutions based on changing requirements.
To ensure that all reports have proper and updated documentation per ISO 90001, 20K and ISMS Standards.
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience as Reports Analyst, or as Reports Analyst Lead. PowerBI / Tableau knowledge is a PLUS.
Extensive familiarity with data management principles and practices, including metadata management and data access technologies.
Intermediate to Advanced level of experience in Excel- Developer mode, Visual Basic, HTML and Macro
Experience in HIGH LEVEL communication with employees and executives.
ITIL v3 Certified is a PLUS.
Experience working in IT Service Desk environment dealing with Incident Management workflow is a PLUS.
College graduate (BS Math, BS Stat preferred).
Willing to work different shifts as required.
Willing to work on holidays and challenging environment situations, like typhoons and transport strike.
Willing to render overtime even at a moment's notice, depending on workload and urgency of requirement.
Key Performance Indicators
Control the resolution of incidents to agreed service levels
Act as point of escalation in dispute or uncertainty over appropriate resolver group for an incident
Act as point of escalation when closure of an incident is disputed by the user
Ensure the Incident / Change / Problem / Knowledge Management process, procedures and work instructions are adhered to by all relevant parties
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the Incident / Change / Problem / Knowledge Management procedures
