Gather on-site data using surveying instruments.
Plans and conduct onsite 3D Laser scanning, registration, and processing of point cloud data to required output format.
Collaborate with the team to properly plan survey activities.
Measure and assess large areas using global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), light detection and ranging (LIDAR), or related sources.
Plans and conducts ground surveys designed to establish baseline, elevations, and other geodetic measurements including, but not limited to, topological surveys, elevation surveys, geodetic grids, property boundaries, and terrain.
Ability to use surveying and mapping equipment including, but not limited to, laser scanners, total stations, graduated rods, transits, levels, theodolites, fathometers, electronic distance meters, and global positioning systems.
Knowledgeable on the principles and methods for describing the features of land, sea, and air masses.
Knowledgeable with CAD software, Surveying software, Mapping software, Map creation software, GPS, GIS, and other related technologies.
Knowledgeable in processing Geospatial information from elevation derived-layers: such as but not limited to Elevation models (DEM, DTM), satellite images.
Records and prepares survey data including, but not limited to, the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimension of land and its features.
Verify mathematical accuracy of collected survey data.
Assess and evaluate quality of data to determine requirements for additional survey data to be used on applications including, but not limited to, land and aerial survey, construction, and engineering.
May perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Excellent problem-solving skills;
College Degree related to Geodetic Engineering, Licensed is a plus
Has at least 2 years of experience related to the field
