SITE ENGINEER
 
Job Description
 
Responsible for the implementation of planning, technical queries, marking out and leveling construction sites before any work takes place as well as checking drawings and ensuring calculations are accurate. Also responsible for health and safety and security as well as organizing and supervising people and materials on site.
 
What you will do:
Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions
Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
Checks and monitors program activities to achieve timely results including follow up of deliverables of the contractor & designer to ensure timely response to all queries.
Ability to evaluate contractor's progress and performance on site.
Ensures that all materials used at site are in accordance with approved plans, specifications and methodologies.
Files & documents all incoming and outgoing correspondence at site office.
Ensures that quality materials and quality work is done at site as per designers design intent and client's satisfaction.
Always present at site to monitor daily activity of the project and answer queries of contractor.
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
1 year of relevant experience or less
Accept Fresh Graduates
Good Communication Skills
Knowledgeable in MS Office, AutoCAD and similar programs.
Know how to prepare BOQ, BOM, Construction Plans, Bar Chart, S curve etc.
Has good people management background, outgoing and proactive
Willing to work on-site at Casuntingan, Mandaue City
