We are URGENTLY looking for the following positions:
SITE ENGINEER - QA/QC
Salary: Negotiable (base on experience)
Job Description:
Monitor ongoing construction, subcontractors' accomplishments, and works to solve problems that may arise during the construction process after being done
Provide constant on-site verification of works, contractors' daily activities, and assigned site activities
Proper interpretation and implementation of construction plans in accordance with construction standards and methodology
Ensure specific quality standards are constantly met at all levels of construction projects
Inspects all stages of construction to ensure that specified requirements are complied
Conducts final inspection after finishing touches
Prepares a documented inspection plan, addressing all inspection stages and getting it approved by the proper authority to ensure objective inspection.
Making timely decisions for rejections/holds due to poor quality so that losses to the company are minimal.
Make an improvement plan for upgrading quality continually to catch up with the best
Keep watch and report all issues that can affect quality, including workmen's skill, construction equipment, external factors, if any, etc.
Disregard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications
Coordinate QA/QC activities and results to immediate head, subcontractor, clients, etc. and monitor compliance to standards
Monitor OSM usage and on-site availability
Qualifications:
Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
Experienced as Site Engineer in the Construction Industry for more than 2 years.
Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Certified is an advantage, but not required
Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.
Must have the initiative to do immediate action on concerns of the clients.
Great leadership and organizational skills.
Superb project management skills.
Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.
Great written and verbal communication skills.
A willingness to learn the company process
