ITC ENGINEER
Location: Manila
Purpose of the job
Plan, install and test & commission the system in accordance with the contractual commitments and applicable regulatory.
Key responsibilities
1.Plan, Prepare and Update Installation, Test and commissioning documents in accordance to Client's requirement and the actual site progress 20 %
2. Monitor the site installation activities and ensure sub-contractor's quality of work achieves the desirable quality level
15 %
3. Undertake site test & commissioning activities. Undertake functional tests and ensure that all interfaces to the signalling system are appropriately tested according to the specification 50 %
4. Ensuring that testing activities are carried out in a timely, logical and cost effective manners. Follow internal process to raise any non-conformities found at site. 10 %
5. Strictly follow the safety rules and procedures as stated in the safety plan. 5 %
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
2 to 3 years experience in signalling or other core E&M subsystems
Installation, test and commissioning experience in railway signalling. Metro with CBTC experience is preferred
Impact to the progress of the project execution
Trouble shooting and log analysis experience is needed. Capable to make decision at site
Site coordination, customer liaison, public speaking and presentation with different stakeholders
(ie. Customer, consultant, subcontractor, interface work packages contractors)
Good interpersonal skills to work with Bombardier's Engineering, Project Management, Safety,
Quality teams as well as customer front line staff, sub-contractors is important
Fluency in English is a must
Working experience in Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Primevara
