Our ecommerce sites offer the best European lighting products to clients worldwide.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Shopify Web Developer who can build and maintain a multiple high-performance, SEO-optimized Shopify storefronts using modern Shopify technologies (Online Store 2.0, JSON templates, Liquid, CLI tools, metafields, etc.). The developer will own the theme end-to-end, ensuring architectural quality, maintainability, performance, and tracking.Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain Shopify storefronts using Liquid, JSON templates, and Online Store 2.0 features
Design and optimize theme architecture for performance, maintainability, and scalability
Implement SEO best practices: schema, SEO markup, meta fields
Set up and maintain tracking (Google Analytics, GTM, other relevant tools)
Work closely with design and product teams to translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient Shopify code
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, or cross-browser issues
Manage and document theme versions, structured content, and deployment workflows
Ensure mobile responsiveness and website speed across devices
Stay up to date with Shopify's evolving platform, best practices, and new features
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience building and managing Shopify websites (especially Online Store 2.0)
Deep knowledge of Liquid templating, JSON, and metafields
Proven skills in front-end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience implementing SEO markup, structured data, and speed optimization
Familiarity with analytics and tracking tools (Google Analytics, GTM)
Ability to work independently and own end-to-end theme architecture
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in a cross-time-zone environment
Nice to Have
Experience with headless Shopify or custom storefront architecture
Experience with Shopify API, both REST and GraphQL
Experience with multilingual/ multimarket Shopify websites.
Prior work in e-commerce or design-oriented brands
Knowledge of design systems or UI component libraries
Experience with Shopify app integration
Familiarity with deployment tools (Git, CI/CD)
