Position: Shopify Administrator
Work Hours: M-F, 9am-5pm PST
Pay Range: 1000-1800 USD
Responsibilities:
Ability to use, install & alter & customize existing Shopify themes/templates.
Monitor and analyze website performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with design team to Optimize website design and user experience to increase conversion rates
Coordinate with marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels
Manage and update Shopify product listings, including product titles, descriptions, and images
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to online orders and products
Act as a Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the e-commerce platform.
Understand business needs that drive project features & functions and provide internal consultation
Be an expert in all aspects of the e-commerce platform
Ensure a smooth connection with Marketing Tools, Platform APIs, and Shopify Apps to optimize the shop for overall efficiency and functionality
Test and debug websites regularly to improve performance
Requirements
2-3 years of Shopify Admin experience
Tools: Shopify, Google Workspace (required); Blender (preferred)
Good written and communication skills
Strong and working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating
Working knowledge of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Metafields
Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API
Strong knowledge of e-commerce best practices, including website design, user experience, and optimization
Familiarity with the Shopify platform and related apps and tools
Extensive testing and debugging abilities using the browser console and other tools
Prior experience developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Working knowledge of third-party services and APIs, as well as Shopify plugins
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software
Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
