Develop and execute a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our trucks.
Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery schedules.
Coordinate and perform routine inspections, repairs, and servicing of the truck fleet.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and vehicle performance.
Manage the truck maintenance budget, including cost estimation, expense tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.
Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs without compromising safety or quality.
Identify reimbursable expenses
Ensure complete inventory of trucks, running and breakdown
Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for spare parts and specialized services.
Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts as needed.
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and supplies
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
Implement safety training and best practices for the maintenance team.
Investigate and report safety incidents or violations promptly.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
Generate reports on maintenance performance and equipment reliability.
Maintain important documents such as OR/CRs, etc.
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of truck maintenance technicians.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
Set performance goals, monitor progress, and conduct performance evaluations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in the related field
Must have work experience in the related field
People management skills and experience leading a large team
Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good team player
Adaptive with the fast-paced culture of the team
