Use SPX planning tools to determine fleet requirements Using operations reports monitor OID vols, delivery success and failure rates, fleet attendance rates, productivity, and other info that can make planning more effective and as accurate as possible. Use forecast numbers from logistics for future planning. Take fleet type (2w, 3w, 4w, and other future types of vehicles) into consideration when planning fleet requirements. Take note of performance trends depending on Peak Days, Lean Days, Regular days, and Holidays, when doing fleet planning. Work closely with IC team with developments in hiring of IC delivery partners. Work closely with retention team as source of data that will be used for fleet planning as well. Provide reports on actual fleet build up vs fleet required. Provide reports on agency fill ability to provide fleet required of them. Provide proposals and secure approvals for immediate and future fleet plans. Fleet plans include targets for fleet per type of vehicle, productivity, and delivery success rates. Coordinate with agencies on fleet required from them. Equally allocate fleet requirements from agencies. Recommend and justify altering fleet allocation to agencies in case where fleet is not being provided as required. Requirements: Must have at least a 4 year college degree. Work experience in transport planning is preferred. Familiar in using Transport Management Systems (TMS) is an advantage Work experience in transport operations, and dealing with transport service providers as well as outsource personnel agencies is an advantage. Has good analytical skills. Use of Google apps such as sheets, slides, docs or Microsoft office. Must be very proficient in using GSheets or Excel. Collaborative, and ask questions to learn more about the nature of fleet requirements of specific hubs. Proactive. High level of integrity Organized and forward thinking. Is able to think out of the box Escalates early before a problem becomes too big Verse in both written and oral communication Ability to work in a high pressure environment High level of energy May require some level of traveling with area of coverage Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
