We are looking for a Shipping & Outbound Logistics Manager to oversee all aspects of outbound logistics and ensure the efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods to customers, distributors, or retail partners. The ideal candidate has experience in coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing third-party carriers, optimizing freight costs, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. The ideal candidate must have an experience with quickbooks.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all outbound logistics and shipping operations, including order fulfillment, packaging, labeling, and dispatch
Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight forwarders, etc.) to schedule pickups and deliveries
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays with both carriers and customers
Optimize shipping processes for cost savings, delivery speed, and accuracy
Ensure proper documentation for domestic and international shipments (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms, commercial invoices)
Work closely with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to prioritize urgent orders and meet delivery deadlines
Monitor shipping KPIs such as on-time delivery rates, freight costs, damage rates, and returns
Ensure compliance with national and international shipping laws and customs regulations
Manage relationships with logistics partners, negotiate rates, and evaluate performance
Oversee inventory movement and coordinate with inventory control staff to ensure accurate outbound tracking
Requirements
3+ years of experience in shipping/logistics management, preferably in a fast-paced distribution or e-commerce environment
Strong understanding of freight and shipping methods (LTL, FTL, air, sea, courier)
Experience using Quickbooks
Familiarity with ERP, WMS, or shipping software (e.g., ShipStation, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple shipments and logistics partners simultaneously
Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping requirements is a plus
