Job Description:
This role will be part of a high performing team of developers and quality analysts, responsible for delivering high quality software based on business requirements and excellent user experience, by designing and implementing tests, while keeping in mind maximum business and team operations efficiency. He or she will be part of the Shared Services IT Team.
Responsibilities:
Understand the business needs by liaising with Project Managers (PM), business users (UAT), and development teams to mitigate risks during implementation and raise potential product enhancements while promoting an excellent user experience.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans from business and functional requirements, ensuring that all test cases cover all business and functional workflows
Participate in the various testing activities of the project (SIT, regression, UAT, retests)
Report, diagnose and analyze defects whenever encountered and/or raised by users
Support UAT by providing test data, test steps, test evidences, and responding to user queries
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
At least 1 year of relevant software testing experience
Working experience in testing java web based software
Ability to prepare test cases/test scenarios, and performing test execution
Experience in functional, systems integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
Familiarity with database concepts and SQL
Knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies
Experience in programming (such as Macro, SQL and Java) is a plus
Automation experience is a plus
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and oral communication and technical documentation skills in English
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline intensive environment
Self-motivated with organizational skills
