Role Overview and Objectives
The Shared Service Centre team was established in Datacom in mid-2018 servicing multinational locations. The purpose of the Shared Service Centre is to provide support to the business on People policy and processes, which enables Datacom to maximize outcomes and to keep people's information up to date, accessible and meaningful.
The Shared Services Centre Administrator works closely with internal People stakeholders and is responsible for delivering a customer-centric People service across the business. The Shared Service Centre delivers data and analytics to internal partners, oversees the collation, maintenance, and administration of accurate People information in Datacom's systems, and provides first tier, people, advice across the business. Core to the role is implementing change and continuously improving service delivery. Key Responsibilities
This role supports generalist people administration which may include onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination (working with the payroll team), and delivery of day-to-day Human Resources (HR) activities in conjunction with the broader People team. The Shared Services Administrator role is critical in engaging, collating, and distributing information to Datacom employees.
Key responsibility - to develop in the role to be able to support the Shared Service Centre Leader in delivering the following;
Continuous improvement activities in an HR environment using continuous improvement techniques
Manage the delivery of HR process and first-tier advice and tools across the business in line with HR policies and processes within agreed service levels
Manage the relationships with People Business Partners and Advisors to ensure service standards are met or exceeded
Ensure that all information provided is of high quality consistent and delivered in a customer-centric manner
Ensure all complaints and incidents are escalated appropriately with improvement plans put in place
Manage the end to end data process and ensure a high level of accuracy
Run People projects which include planning, process development, resource management, communication, systems implementation, and data management
Other HR administration activities as required.
Audit & Compliance
You will help to drive continuous improvement of the HR process by seeking to identify different ways of working to deliver a customer-centric service to the business.
Work-based on a 'right first-time' approach
All relevant documentation is managed appropriately and within agreed guidelines
Complete appropriate system updates, rectify anomalies, and adopt a 'lessons learned' approach
Complete any compliance checks within specified deadlines.
Requirements
The individual
A proactive and flexible team member with sound HR administration experience or related studies, strong attention to detail and a high level of communication skills. Confidence in dealing with various stakeholders, collaborative and participative team member with a can do attitude and willingness to take on additional activities as required.
High level of computer literacy is required, with the proven ability to learn new systems
Experience in HR systems, HR policies and processes and HR administration
Understanding of the connection points with payroll and payroll processes
A service delivery focus, ensuring delivery of a high quality service
Ability to analyse data and identify trends
Strong interpersonal skills
Intermediate level of knowledge of Microsoft products
Proven experience of providing excellent customer service.
