The Role
As a Settlement Officer, you will handle settlement-related transactions and reports. You will provide support to Settlement Head and Operations Head.
How you'll contribute
Generates and reviews daily trade reports to agents and management, monthly and quarterly statements of
accounts of clients by ensuring that the records are accurate and updated to provide service quality to internal
and external clients. * Attends to client queries on settlement concerns by verifying the information per record and evaluating how to
resolve clients' concerns to provide better banking service to clients. * Prepares lodgement and upliftment transactions and reports based on received documents from clients to service
client request in a timely manner. * Prepares and submits B for A instructions, whenever applicable via Winstockss and SCCP-CSD system to
ensure that portfolios to be settled matched those of the clients' position. * Assists in processing invoices/trade confirmations by matching emailed instructions and order slips against the
trades uploaded in Winstockss to ensure correct recording of client transactions. * Sends trade confirmations' SMS from Winstockss at end of day as an added value service to clients.
Reviews aging of short positions generated from Winstockss by ensuring that only unsettled trades from
custodians and brokers are reflected to ensure that there will be no failure on securities settlements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, or other related field.
Knowledge of the stock brokerage operations particularly on settlements.
With experience working in brokerage firm.
Have the ability to solve problems independently and with strong attention to details.
