The ServiceNow Solution Engineer is to work closely with the automation team, gain a deep understanding of customer requirements, and design innovative solutions that align with their needs. The incumbent plays a critical role in demonstrating the value and capabilities of our products and services to potential clients. This role requires a solid understanding of architecture and development best practices, allowing them to provide expert guidance and contribute to the overall success of the projects. By leveraging their expertise, the Solution Engineer ensures that the solutions delivered meet the highest quality, performance, and customer satisfaction standards.
Relevant Experience & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information science, Computer Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Math, or related areas.
At least six to eight (6-8) years of relevant professional experience, three (3) years of which must be in solutions design and development.
Excellent ability in requirements analysis, systems analysis, design, and functional and detailed specifications preparation.
Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies, DevOps. CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and testing/quality assurance. Working knowledge in Azure DevOps is a plus.
Experiences in IT service management processes and tools required.
At least three (3) years of experience in ServiceNow development, preferably in HRSD, ITSM and App Engine
Working knowledge of one of the following solutions is a plus: Oracle eBusiness Suite & HCM Cloud Solutions, Summit, Loan IQ, Credit Lens, Numerix One View, Dynamics 365, Office 365, and Automation Anywhere.
Must have exposure to application development in JAVA/J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and technologies
Preferably have experience in business process design using Red Hat JBoss BPM
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to relate to large information-based organizations and comfortable dealing with senior executives from a variety of cultures
Demonstrated teamwork (ability to work with others to achieve more effective results)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
