Primary Purpose
To provide technical design, development, administration and support for ServiceNow and xMatters.
Scope/Dimensions
Configure/Code ServiceNow and xMatters applications based on business requirements to facilitate rollout of new functionality, interfaces, modules and other items such as UI and Workflow configuration.
Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow and xMatters administrators/developers to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests.
Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow and xMatters applications are implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations.
Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
Gathering and documenting user functional requirements, process requirements, and developing technical requirements.
Work closely with other business functions and technology teams to gather input to support ongoing business needs for ServiceNow and xMatters configuration, implementation, and support.
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements
Formal Education
ServiceNow Administrator certification
ServiceNow Developer certification (preferred)
Work Experience
3+ years of software development background
Minimum of 2 years development in ServiceNow
Sound knowledge of delivery methodologies and associated tools, with working experience in Agile delivery
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes
End to End SDLC development and delivery experience on ServiceNow.
ServiceNow development skills (including JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, SOAP, Web services & Powershell)
Detailed knowledge of the ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, Sec Ops, GRC & the Now Platform Foundations
ServiceNow Administration and Configuration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work autonomously and deliver quality ServiceNow Solutions.
