Purpose:
The position is based in the Service Delivery Team, which is part of the ICT division. The unit aims to ensure services designed to support the business are met.
The purpose of the Service Delivery Consultant role is to deliver support services to all users within the business, ensuring services are operating to optimum levels and other contractual obligations are maintained within Client
Responsibilities:
Ensure support services are available and delivered to business requirements.
Provide timely resolution to incidents and requests, providing first contact resolution where possible.
Identify problems and understand impact to users, services and systems.
Develop a strong knowledge of tasks and systems associated with the role and have the ability to categorise and prioritise tasks.
Deliver excellent Audio Visual support for video-conferencing and presentations, ensuring high levels of availability.
Apply best practices and recommendations where appropriate and in accordance with policies & procedures.
Provide and maintain accurate documentation and user-friendly guides, communications, examples in support of processes.
Communicate and work with external resources to achieve outcomes. Working with service providers and vendors to contractual terms and SLAs, creating value for our business.
Participate in the delivery of project tasks to assist with the run of ICT.
Continually contribute to and role model a positive workplace culture and positive resident service of McKenzie.
Understand, comply with and report in line with the Serious Incident Reporting Scheme (SIRS).
Ensure services are compliant and delivered within the framework of Client's policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and meet the relevant service standards.
Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
Participate in regular supervision, meetings, performance appraisals, and training as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as directed by the Service Delivery Manager or delegate.
Requirements
Experience in a Service Desk or similar role and exposure to Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Exchange, DHCP/DNS, LAN/WAN, File & Print services.
Exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and multitask.
High level of interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus and the capacity to follow tasks through to completion.
You are conscious of customer perception and strive to provide excellent customer service and user experiences.
Supporter of change and transformation.
Experience liaising / coordinating with outsourced service providers and suppliers.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Commitment to contribute to supporting a 24x7 environment.
Team oriented, friendly self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work flexibly as part of a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
