Regional Finance Team is seeking a highly motivated Service Delivery Lead - to support the Record to Report (R2R) Regional Process Owner, APAC in leading and shaping the R2R processes for the region for all foodpanda's verticals (Platform and New Verticals). The role will be located at our regional headquarters in Singapore.
Your Key Objectives
Lead and supervise a team of accountants for the assigned markets
Serve as the point of contact for issues escalation within the R2R process
Managing service delivery as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs), including sourcing talent as well as maintaining and governing the assigned end to end processes
Drive operational and process excellence [i.e. standardization, taxonomy]
Support the transition/ onboarding of new markets
Perform Business Reviews [i.e. R2R Performance, Issue management, projects]
Responsibilities
Primary:
Manage the regional R2R Shared Service Centre to support the assigned markets starting with General Ledger activities.
Ensure month-end closing tasks are completed in a timely manner and Group's month-end closing timelines are met consistently.
Collaborate with process stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient process operations.
Manage service delivery and SLAs and ensure KPIs are met.
Analyse and present performance results to R2R Regional Process Owner and other stakeholders in relevant governance forums (e.g. Monthly, Quarterly Business Review...etc)
To be involved in R2R Transformation projects and provide inputs that will drive process-related investment decisions and implementation.
Ensure processes are compliant with any regulations and internal controls / risk management measures
Others:
Maintain process documentation
Drive standardize processes and systems across the region
Liaise with relevant stakeholders at Delivery Hero / regional teams (e.g. Procurement, Risk & Compliance, Financial System, Accounting, Controlling) to understand and implement relevant policies and procedures affecting the R2R processes
Actively help to solve R2R and finance operation related issues and problems in an effective manner
Liaise with Central (Delivery Hero), Regional and GRC on managing relevant policies and procedures affecting R2R processes
Support internal and external audits
Any other activities assigned from time to time by the R2 R Regional Process Owner
Requirements:
Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in finance/accounting preferably from audit firm/inhouse role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.
Practical knowledge of IFRS, ACCA/CPA/ACA qualifications are preferred.
Experience in managing teams of 6 or above.
Highly proficient in advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc.) & SAP system.
Proficient in business English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical abilities.
Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, startup/technology environments is a plus.
Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Positive working attitude, demonstrate good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
