Job Description
Responsible for ensuring continued uninterrupted service through identification and problem resolution in a server environment. Requires strong knowledge of server and desktop processing/operating systems that enable them to work at the highest level of all computer operations phases. Oversees provisioning of new servers (physical or virtual). Directs server consolidation and migration activities. Oversees performance and capacity planning for server infrastructure assets. Responsible to ensure the CMDB and all CI information pertaining to infrastructure assets is complete and accurate. Competent to handle complex problems concerning systems operations. Confers with software systems engineers in the event errors require a change of instructions or sequence of operations. Provides enterprise management of Anti-virus. Provides operational management of Active Directory, File sharing and Domain administration.

Job Requirements
Requires 5-7 years related IT experience.
Hands-on experience with installing, administering enterprise anti-virus systems in large environments across multiple sites.
Experience with Microsoft workstation and server operating systems.
Experience with supporting production Windows and Exchange environments in a 24X7 operation.
Demonstrated knowledge of Networking Concepts, i.e. DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP
Working knowledge of Storage Technologies, i.e. SAN, NAS
Practical experience with Ethernet networks, networking topologies and implementations.
Strong experience managing server virtualization technologies.
Hands-on experience defining server hardware specifications for servers, switches and related support hardware.
Extensive experience with industry standard toolsets for migration, support, administration and implementation of client/server based technologies.
Ability to communicate or present information, both verbally and written, effectively with all levels of the organization.
