JOB DESCRIPTION
We’re seeking a seasoned SEO Content Writer and Web Page Creator who will craft SEO-optimized content for our client’s eCommerce store to improve organic rankings.
JOB QUALIFICATION
ROLE SUMMARY
We’re seeking a seasoned SEO Content Writer and Web Page Creator who will craft SEO-optimized content for our client’s eCommerce store to improve organic rankings.
SCHEDULE: 8 AM – 5 PM Pacific Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·       Conduct research and perform technical and creative writing that delivers on an outlined set of task specifications
·       Research, draft the required text elements and polish the copy into a beautiful and informative article
·       Route articles for evaluation and approval prior to publishing
·       Write a range of assignments such as buying guide articles, blogs, product descriptions, and web page copy
·       Build web pages as needed, working within pre-built templates to design copy and images that fit the page needed
·       Document pending site changes for the tech team and SEO Director to ensure that changes are tracked and integrated across skills
QUALIFICATIONS
·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
·       3 years’ experience in content-rich, search-engine-optimized copy that delivers on a technical specification
·       eCommerce background and thorough understanding of SEO properties (page titles, meta descriptions, h1, alts, anchor text, etc.)
·       Industry knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, copywriting, content marketing, and ability to use Copyleaks (or any program to check texts uniqueness)
·       Skilled at the art of tying together the required SEO text elements into an end-product of beautiful and informative copy that resonates with our target audience
·       Capable of researching to develop unique and high-quality content
·       Proficient in rank analysis and content marketing strategy analysis
·       Proficient with the English language; excellent comprehension and demonstrated ability to write in English and resonate with our target audience
·       Must possess the following skill set: creativity, attention to detail, time management, ability to research
·       Expertise in building landing pages using a drag-and-drop page builder for eCommerce merchants (Shogun) is a plus
·       Shopify experience is also a plus
·       Experience in a multi-client environment
·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
