Roles and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the SEO Specialist are to optimise On-Page, Off-Page, and Google Local Business of the client's website.
The SEO Specialist' On-Page tasks are to manage the page posts and blogs, optimise meta information, title, description, ALT text (images), schema, microdata, URL structure; provide keyword insertion, optimise 404, 301, 500 errors; perform page analysis and study the rankings, keywords, and its competitors.
The SEO Specialist' Off-Page tasks are to perform competitor analysis, optimise backlink building, link prospecting, and backlink cleansing using Google Disavow tool.
The SEO Specialist' Google Local Business tasks are to provide NAP on revision, optimise link building locally, and perform a Local 3 pack analysis on competitor's activity.
Required Experience
- Work experience in a small SEO team environment
A Successful Candidate must have
- Ability to generate SEO reports and dashboards for managers as required
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge in the current Google Algorithm
- On-Page & Off-Page optimisation skills
- SEO best practices
Proficient with
- Google Local Business
- WordPress
- Schema markup language
- Google Analytics and other commercially available analytics software
