We are seeking for an SEO Link Building & Outreach Specialist to help us build awareness and backlinks profitably and safely. The link building specialist will be working with the Online Marketing team to complete high-quality white hat link building and other SEO related tasks for projects. He/She should be up-to-date with recent search engine changes, updates, and practice search engine-approved methods for building brand awareness that results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, analyze, keep track and execute on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Use white hat link building strategies to generate relevant, high-quality backlinks that will positively impact organic traffic and rankings.
Use web-based tools to submit, manage and track multiple business listings (citations)
Work with teams to identify the most appropriate partners through social media, blogs, articles, and press releases
Qualify websites and content publishers for potential link building opportunities, including forums, directories, guest posting, infographic posting, and sponsored posts.
Perform and track outreach through email, Twitter, blog comments, Facebook, and on the phone
Research and Analyze competitor backlinks and identify opportunities and gaps in our own backlink profile.
Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
Using advanced search techniques in Google to identify potential link opportunities
Regularly analyze backlink profile (identification of link SPAM issues) and submit disavow reports via Google Webmaster tools to ensure healthy links and backlink profile
Generate measurable results for clients as well as the generation of reports
Disavow toxic backlinks using Google Search Console.
Stay abreast of algorithm updates and adjust the strategies as needed.
Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
REQUIREMENTS
2 years of experience in link building
Associates degree in communication and/or IT preferred
Must be able to work with a sense of urgency
Must be a great communicator, with excellent verbal and writing skills
Must be able to multi-task and occasionally assist with other SEO related tasks
A demonstrated understanding of off-page SEO, SEO link building, and the core methods and principles of modern SEO and has an ability to create genuine and permanent links.
Creativity in link building, required examples of past achievements through content and other link building techniques
Can do link building activities manually - but also has experience with software tools to help with the process.
Good research skills to ensure link relevancy and familiarity with HTML and metadata
Must be experienced and comfortable working with various SEO related tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HotJar, SERPs, and SEM Rush
Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
