Responsibilities would include some of the following:
Perform keyword and topic research for general web pages, blog articles, and outreach pitches
Outline/create SEO briefs, write, and review search-optimized articles for both internal projects (SEO pages, blogs) and external use (outreach)
Craft recommended Titles, Meta Descriptions, and Image Alt tags for web pages and articles
Collaborate with both the SEO Content team and the Technical SEO team for large-scale ad hoc projects (anchor texts for links, etc.)
Over the course of performing duties, identify additional opportunities for process/content streamline.
Qualifications:
Minimum two years experience
Must be fluent in the English language, preferably with a background in journalism or creative writing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong grasp of American idioms and expressions
Self-starter who can work independently, as well as with a team
Efficient time and task management; ability to meet and manage deadlines in the face of simultaneous projects with different objectives
Working knowledge of SEO for copy and content; comfortable with the prospect of using key tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, and spreadsheets
Meticulous with a keen eye for the details that make the content both search engine and human-friendly
