Senior Yield and Reliability Engineer
Required Experience
BS. in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Computer Engineering)At least five years of reliability engineering experience, preferably for industrial product or machinery
Must have experience in production / manufacturing environment
Strong engineering fundamentals and skilled in analytical thinking with a demonstrated ability to analyze data and draw conclusions for root cause analysis and/or positive yield improvement
Proven ability to solve technical problems with hands-on product development experience
Experience in Integration and Process EngineeringExperience in development of system level testing for component reliability
Experienced in design failure mode effects analysis (DFMEA) techniques and development of engineering tests and solutions to mitigate non-conformances and/or to improve operability / safety / availability of system
Well versed in Quality Systems and data analysis techniques including statistical process control, CPKExperience with system analysis techniques (fault tree analysis, root cause analysis, Six sigma)Experienced in application of problem solving and analysis techniques (8D, 5 Whys)Well organized with excellent reporting skills to technical and non-technical personnel
Strong English communication skills (oral and written)Experience with engineering change management tools
Ability to train and mentor junior engineers for technical transfer of knowledge
Organized and able to prioritize variety of tasks
Desirable MS in EngineeringPython programming experience for data analysis and visualization a strong plus
Experienced in design of experiments for component validation and reliability testing
Knowledge of risk management and risk assessment techniques
Experience with New Product Introduction / Manufacturing Ramp / Product DeploymentExperience with product warranties and/or providing support to customer after-sales / field personnel
Experience with rotating equipment, electric machines and drives, renewable energy, energy storage and/or power electronics devices
Knowledge of UL and other agency approval requirements
