Services:
a. Around 70% of individual tax preparation.
b. Around 30% business tax preparation.
i. A portion of the businesses require bookkeeping (QuickBooks online and desktop, the majority is online)
c. Estimate work time for the hire, it would be around 30% bookkeeping and 70% tax preparation, which will include:
i. Prepare tax returns;
ii. Keep clients' books up to date and reconcile on a monthly/quarterly basis; and
iii. Resource will work only on assigned clients.
d. Tax preparation software used is Lacerte from Intuit
e. The main activity of the practice is tax preparation, we do not provide any assurance services (no audits or reviews)
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Full-time tax accountant
2. Have 3-5 years of prior tax preparation experience (key point)
3. CPA is a great plus, but not required if the person has relevant experience 4. Experienced with QuickBooks online and desktop software (key point)
5. Ideally experienced with Lacerte software (with that being said, if the person has a good knowledge of the tax rules and regulations, they should be able to learn any preparation software rather quickly).
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
